An undertaking on the scale of the Eurocash Group requires vision, ongoing control and objective supervision. These functions require managerial talent, specialist knowledge and extensive experience. That is why both the Management Board, and the Supervisory Board are composed of meticulously selected members, each an expert in their field.

Paweł
Surówka

President of the Management Board

Since 2022, Paweł Surówka has been serving as the CEO of the Eurocash Group. Additionally, he directly oversees areas such as ESG, corporate relations, logistics, and the Duży Ben retail network.

Previously, he was associated with the financial sector. From 2017 to 2020, he held the position of CEO of the PZU Group, and prior to that, since 2016, he served as CIO and CEO of PZU Życie. Between 2015 and 2016, he acted as an advisor to the CEO of PKO Bank Polski and Director of Corporate and Investment Banking for Germany. From 2013 to 2015, he worked in the automotive industry as a member of the Management Board of the Boryszew Group and as CEO of its subsidiaries in the automotive sector. From 2007 to 2013, he was a financial advisor at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Paweł Surówka graduated from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). He also studied at Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich and Harvard Kennedy School. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Piotr
Nowjalis

Member of the Management Board

A member of the Management Board since 2024, Piotr Nowjalis serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Eurocash Group, overseeing financial departments and the legal area.

Over the past 25 years, he has held senior roles in financial management, including Vice President of the Management Board at Tarczyński SA, CFO and Management Board Member at the startup merXu, and CFO and Vice President of the Management Board at the CCC Group from 2008 to 2017. He has also served in supervisory roles on the boards of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), including Dino Polska SA, where he was a Supervisory Board Member from 2015 to 2023.

Piotr Nowjalis is a graduate of the University of Gdańsk (Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Law and Administration) and holds an Executive MBA from Kozminski University in Warsaw.

Tomasz
Polański

Member of the Management Board

A member of the Management Board since 2022, Tomasz Polański is responsible for the wholesale segment of the Eurocash Group. He manages the Group’s business units, including Serwis, Dystrybucja & Cash&Carry, and, as of 2024, Eurocash Partner Networks.

He has over 20 years of experience in the FMCG sector and has been with the Eurocash Group since 1999. Tomasz Polański graduated from the Faculty of Machine Building and Management at Poznań University of Technology. In 2024, he completed the Stanford Executive Program, and earlier, in 2011, the Advanced Management Program at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Dariusz
Stolarczyk

Member of the Management Board

A member of the Management Board since 2022, Dariusz Stolarczyk is responsible for the retail segment of the Eurocash Group, including the Delikatesy Centrum network.

He has extensive management experience, including roles on management boards and supervisory boards of corporate entities. He has been with the Eurocash Group since April 2018, initially joining as President of the Management Board of Eurocash Serwis. From 2013 to 2018, he worked for Eton Park Fund as Vice President of RUCH S.A., overseeing operations, press management, logistics, and multichannel e-commerce. Between 2012 and 2016, he served on the Supervisory Boards of Asseco Poland and Globe Trade Center. Previously, from 2007 to 2013, he was a Management Board Member of NFI EMPIK Media & Fashion, responsible for operations, IT, and the supply chain. From 1998 to 2007, he was the Managing Director of the Industry and Retail Consulting Division at Accenture.

Dariusz Stolarczyk graduated from the Faculty of Computer Science at Silesian University of Technology, with additional qualifications in Management Accounting and Controlling from the Warsaw School of Economics. He also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Katarzyna
Kopaczewska

Member of the Management Board

A member of the Management Board since 2004, Katarzyna Kopaczewska is responsible for the HR area and the Eurocash Skills Academy, where she serves as President.

She is an expert in human resources management with extensive experience in leadership roles, including Human Resources Manager at Johnson & Johnson, HR Director and Management Board Member at Jeronimo Martins, and Corporate HR Director at ZF Polpharma.

Katarzyna Kopaczewska graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Trade at the Polish International School of Management in Warsaw. She has also completed international training programs in management and human resources, conducted by Management Centre Europe (Belgium), IMD (Switzerland), INSEAD (France), and Stanford University (USA).

Szymon
Mitoraj

Member of the Management Board

A member of the Management Board since 2023, Szymon Mitoraj is responsible for the digitalization of the Eurocash Group and the largest e-grocery store in Poland – Frisco.

Szymon Mitoraj has 19 years of experience in the financial sector, holding leadership roles in retail banking, digitalization, and IT. From 2020 to 2023, he served as Vice President of the Management Board at Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine, where he led the digital transformation, sales and service channels, product management, and retail banking marketing. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2020, he was Managing Director of IT and Chief Data Officer for the PZU Group, overseeing the Group's IT functions. For 14 years before joining PZU, he was associated with the ING Group in Poland and Thailand, working on building, developing, and digitalizing retail banking, particularly in online and mobile banking, where he led these areas at ING Poland from 2011 to 2018.

Szymon Mitoraj graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice and the Institute of Technology Sligo in Ireland.

Marcin
Celejowski

Member of the Management Board

A Board Member responsible for the company's commercial purchasing area since October 2024; he began his cooperation with Eurocash Group at the end of 2022, being responsible for purchasing, expansion, digital integration, and development of the Eurocash Sieci Partnerskie consumer offer.
 
Mr. Celejowski has been involved in the FMCG market since 1997. Between 2012 and 2022, he gained experience in Grupa Żywiec, where he held positions ranging from sales director for modern retail, director for independent retail and foodservice, to a Board Member responsible for sales. Prior to that, he worked in Unilever Poland from 1997 to 2012, holding management positions including chief operating officer for customer development and marketing, global director of trade marketing, and sales director for execution and distribution. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of Comp Platforma Usługa S.A. from 2019 to 2022.
 
He graduated from the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology at Wroclaw University of Technology, majoring in Biotechnology.

Luis
Amaral

Chairman of the Supervisory Board

He has over 20 years of management experience, which he has gained in several companies and countries. He started his professional career as an intern with Unilever Portugal, where he worked for over 5 years, occupying various managerial positions in sales and marketing departments.

Luis Amaral came to Poland in 1995, where, as the General Director of Jeronimo Martins, he built the company until 1999. During this year, he was promoted to the position of Member of the Executive Committee of Jeronimo Martins Holding in Portugal, but a few months later he made the decision to move his professional career in a different direction. In South America, as a Partner with the Antfactory investment fund, he began his activity on the markets of Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.

In 2003 he returned to Poland, where he gathered a team to buy Eurocash from Jeronimo Martins. Today, the Eurocash Group is the largest distributor of food and other fast moving goods in Poland.

Dr Iwona Sroka

Member of the Supervisory Board

Iwona Sroka is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, holds a PhD in economics, and serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. In 2024, she assumed the position of President of the Supervisory Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Since 2018, she has been a Management Board Member of the Murapol Group, responsible for marketing, PR, investor relations (IR), and ESG areas. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Pad Res, a company implementing renewable energy projects.

She has wide experience in management, marketing communication, and capital and financial markets. From 2009 to 2017, she served as President of the National Depository for Securities (KDPW) and KDPW_CCP. Previously, from 2000 to 2009, she headed the Information and Promotion Department of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. She has been a member of numerous advisory boards, including those at the Ministry of Finance, the National Bank of Poland, and the European Central Securities Depositories Association. She also served on the Supervisory Board of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and is a co-author of the Audit Committee Good Practices document.

Rita Acciaioli Mendes Pais do Amaral

Member of the Supervisory Board

Rita Acciaioli Mendes Pais do Amaral is a graduate of Babson College in Boston, where she studied management. She began her professional career in the marketing department of The Walt Disney Company in Lisbon. Since 2013, she has been associated with the Eurocash Group, where, as General Director and Management Board Member of the Kontigo retail chain, she was responsible for development strategy, expansion, and the implementation of an innovative drugstore concept on the Polish market.

She has extensive experience in strategy, marketing, and operational management, gained in both international structures and the local market.

Jorge Mora

Member of the Supervisory Board

Mr. Jorge Mora was born in Washington DC. April 16, 1967. He graduated from the University of Miami with a Business degree in 1989 and from the Wharton School of Business with an MBA in 1993. He has over 25 years of experience working in International corporate advisory and private equity investing. Most recently he was Vice-Chairman and Senior Managing Director of Macquarie Capital in the USA. Prior to that he was the Group Head of Financial Sponsor coverage at Lazard and before that a Managing Director at UBS. Currently he is active on several not-for-profit Boards and is the President of Pace Ventures, a company focused on art related investments.

Przemysław
Budkowski

Member of the Supervisory Board

Mr. Przemysław Budkowski graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Management and Marketing at the University of Economics in Poznań. In the years 2005 –2009, he was the Product Marketing Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at Google. In 2009-2018, he was associated with the Allegro Group, where in 2009-2011 he held the position of Marketing Director and then President of the Management Board. Przemysław Budkowski is an expert in marketing and e-commerce. Mr Przemysław Budkowski has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Eurocash since 20 October 2020.
